Download Help
To download CardZone PowerPoint files:
- Right click (PC) or click hold (Mac) on the picture of
the card you wish to download and choose "save target
as" or "save link as"
- Find a location on your hard drive where you want to save
your downloaded file (remember this location)
- Click Save
- CardZone files are normal PowerPoint .PPT files ranging
in size from 300 to 800kb.
- Download may take about 20 seconds to 10 minutes depending
on the file size and your connection speed.
Using Card Zone files
Each CardZone file is designed to be printed on high-quality
8 1/2" by 11" paper and folded in half twice to
create the card. The front of the card will appear upside
down on your computer screen. The message section is right
side up. You can modify the text on the front of the card
and the message.
Modifying text on front of card
The text on the front of the card is created with PowerPoint's
WordArt function. To modify the text double-click the word
and the Word Art edit menu will appear. Modify the text and
then click OK. You can also change the color, typeface, style
and position of the Word Art text.
To add new WordArt text
- On the Drawing toolbar, click Insert WordArt .
- Click the special effect you want, and then click OK.
- In the Edit WordArt Text dialog box, type the text you
want to format, select any other options you want, and then
click OK.
- To add or change effects to the text, use the tools on
the WordArt and Drawing toolbars.
Modifying card for your printer
The card will print slightly differently on each brand of
printer. If you need to adjust the placement of the card so
that the margins are even on your printer, follow these steps:
- Select View, Master, Slide Master
- Click on the image and move it slightly so that the margins
are even when printed.
- You may need to shrink the image slightly by clicking
on it until four square handles appear. Hold down the shift
key and move the bottom left handle in slightly so that
the whole image is smaller
